University of Saint Francis Privacy Policy

Your privacy and the privacy of others are important to the University of Saint Francis. In particular, we believe that a vibrant learning community depends on maintaining a trusted user environment. As such, the University of Saint Francis is committed to providing a clear and specific policy that describes how information is collected, used and/or shared and how said information is protected in order to ensure the privacy of its students and other users.

This Privacy Policy applies to the University of Saint Francis (USF) and explains our practices concerning the collection, use and disclosure of visitor, student, staff and faculty information. Information collected by all USF departments will be used only as outlined in the privacy statement.

The Privacy Statement will be reviewed on an annual basis by the Director of Technology Security and Compliance to ensure that appropriate changes, if needed, are made to the policy as technology and laws change.

The University of Saint Francis may contract services from third party providers in order to ensure quality, functionality, to maintain security of it web services, or to manage your relationship with us.

While we are committed to protecting the privacy of our visitors, students, staff and faculty we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to university websites, and you do so at your own risk. However, once we receive your information, we will use reasonable safeguards consistent with prevailing industry standards and commensurate with the sensitivity of the data being stored to maintain the security of that information on our systems.

In addition, we will comply will all local, state and federal laws regarding the privacy and security of the information that you have provided.

We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of information that we have collected from you.
